ASF 400 screw separator

Specially further developed for dewatering of waste-water and sludges with high fibrous-solids contents

Functions

The central element of the ASF 400 series of screw separators is a screw which conveys the fluid to be dewatered from the inlet via the screen cage and into the press chamber. The press chamber is closed by means of a pneumatically operated sealing cone. A “plug”, which closes the press chamber, forms here from the captured solids. The sealing cone counterpressure can be adjusted in order to achieve the required filter-press performance.
The machine is fed from the top, while the separated solids are discharged at the front and the cleaned substrate flows out at the bottom.
