Industrial Wastewater treatment plant: The endurance runner

As part of the expansion of our wastewater treatment plant, we decided in 2003 to install a contec fine screen for the mechanical treatment of our wastewater. The contec screen is equipped with a screen opening of 1.0 mm and reliably separates textile fibres, paper, elastomers as well as wood, metal and hard plastics from our waste water.

The screen works absolutely reliably and requires very little maintenance and care compared to our other systems. Approximately every 5 years the adjustable brushes and the shock absorber are replaced with little effort.
